After watching TDKR, I felt really satisfied, and walked out with a good sense of closure to the trilogy. I personally like TDK just a bit more, mainly because of the Joker, but that's not to say Bane is bad, Tom Hardy delivers an excellent performance as the main villain. The movie is all around epic in scale, action, and acting. But the main fault I found was the movie was a little too long. There were some things in the story that could have been cut out, not because they were terrible scenes, they just weren't necessary. One of TDKR greatest strengths though is in tying in things from previous films. For example, Bruce has flashbacks of his parents with scenes from the previous films that really blend everything together perfectly. You can definitely tell this movie was a part of a real trilogy when it continues to pull things from previous films, and doesn't completely stand alone. Anyone who has been following the trilogy and hasn't seen the final act, needs to go see it right away, there are a lot of great action scenes, dramatic moments, twists n turns, and all around movie going fun. The director, Christopher Nolan, has risen to the occasion and delivered three of the finest superhero movies, along with one of the greatest movie trilogy's of all time. Thanks Mr. Nolan.
